Wet 'n' Wild Mega last Lipsticks

Wet n Wild is the most affordable drugstore brand you can ever find. As per my opinion no brand can provide you more bang for the buck. I have tried 3 types of wet n wild lipsticks till now (Mega last, Silk finish and liquid lipstick) and I have to say that they are superb. If you are like me who wants to try new shades often without breaking the bank, you should give these lipsticks a try.

I have 8 of  the 24 mega last lipstick shades. Wet n wild mega last lip colors are matte lipsticks, fairly long wearing. Their  website says they are 4 hour lip color which is true (for me they have lasted more than that). They are super pigmented and gorgeous colors. And like most of the matte lipsticks the formula is on drier side but I guess that’s why matte lipsticks have more staying power than cream or satin finish lipsticks.

They come in basic black tube, kind of flimsy packaging but hey for $1.99 you can’t complain. Oh one more tiny flaw, they don’t put name of the shades on the tube which is sometimes inconvenient but I can live with it J

Shades that I have are:
902C – Bare it all : This is a basic nude shade. Perfect for most skin tones.
907C – Mauve Outta Here : This is very unique color. Almost looks like purple but has pink undertone to it.     Love this color.
966 – Don’t blink pink : This is gorgeous intense barbie pink shade. Bright pigmented lip color.
905D – Smokin' Hot Pink : Though in the swatch picture it looks very similar to 966, it is not as intense. This is more deeper wearable shade of hot pink, bright but not too bright.
970 –  Purty Persimmon : This is orangy, tomato red color.
910D – Red Velvet : This is a classic red color.
911D – Spotlight red : This is little darker than red velvet. Has slight brownish undertone.
918D -  Cherry Bomb : Oh I absolutely love this deep berry plum color. If you are into the vampy lips you must have it.

They cost $1.99 each and they are made in China. PETA states Wet n Wild as a cruelty free brand.
Overall they are pretty good quality, inexpensive and pigmented matte lipsticks. They are great over a lip balm. I love them all.
